Dual Character Country Engagement

Dual Character Country Engagement

Welcome to the page dedicated to increasing engagement of Dual Character Countries in effective development co-operation. Here, you can network with likeminded community members, and find relevant resources, discussions and events.

WHY IS THE ENGAGEMENT OF DUAL CHARACTER COUNTRIES IMPORTANT FOR MORE EFFECTIVE DEVELOPMENT CO-OPERATION?

As emerging providers of co-operation that still receive development assistance from ‘traditional’ development partners, dual character countries represent an important interface for increasing the effectiveness of development co-operation. While sometimes still experiencing domestic structural and multi-dimensional development challenges , these countries can capitalise on their own development experiences to share first-hand knowledge and experiences to increase the impact of resource delivery.
